THE STORY

Jacob Ortega has always been drawn to building things — businesses included. Between 10–15 years in and out of the construction and facilities industries, and time spent building his own local ventures, he's learned the same lesson from a few different angles: great work doesn't speak for itself. It has to be shown.

That lesson took shape while Jacob was supporting the marketing efforts of a builder — managing the website and social media, and capturing drone footage along the way. He saw how much local competition exists, and how rarely businesses actually showed off the quality work they were doing. If you're doing good work, people should see it.

That idea became personal when Jacob had his own roof redone, by a company that happened to fly a drone over the finished job. Seeing his own home from above — the finished product, done well — he realized just how much of an impact aerial footage can have on how a customer feels about the work they paid for.

Jacob brings that same eye to Tower 88 Media. As the owner of Reload Detailing and Lake Ray Hubbard Boats, he knows firsthand what it takes to run a local business, build a brand from the ground up, and stand out in a market with no shortage of competition.
